Cleaning up the Thames – The Tideway Tunnel Video

When it rains, untreated sewage overflows from London’s Victorian sewerage system into the River Thames. In an average year 39 million tonnes can overflow into the River from the Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) along its banks.

The Thames Tunnel is a proposed new sewer designed to tackle these overflows.
